Meet Lois
A native of Philadelphia, Lois began writing instructional materials more than thirty years ago, co-writing educational guides and manuals in the field of education.
With a successful career in education, her know how in technical writing as well as background in training adults both at the university and school division level shines through in Getting Your Affairs in Order: A 7 Week Plan to Organize and Prepare Critical Information for Your Loved Ones.
As a former owner of a small business focused on helping clients who struggled with personal organization and having gone through the process of organizing her own affairs, Lois is passionate about teaching others how to do the same. With parents who had taken the time to prepare themselves and their children should they become incapacitated or deceased, she knows the value of preparing and sharing critical information with loved ones.
An avid researcher and learner, she received a Bachelor of Science from Temple University and her master’s degree from Arcadia University, both in the state of Pennsylvania.
Lois lives in Virginia and enjoys time spent with her children and granddaughters. When she is not serving on a church ministry and tending to her faith, Lois spends her time gardening, walking, and reading a good book. She is an admitted fan of PBS’s Masterpiece and enjoys having a good cup of tea with dessert while watching her favorite British television series.
